Henry Wright Jr., son of the late Henry Washington Wright and Eugenia Anderson Wright, was born February 20, 1920 and resided at Good Sherpherd Nursing Home in Eutawville, South Carolina. After a brief illness he departed this life at Columbia Hospice Center in Columbia South Carolina. He also resided in Eutawville, South Carolina.
He was educated in the Eutawville School District in Eutawville South Carolina. His love and dedication for farming never ended. He also enjoyed mechanics. At an early age he joined Liberty Hill Baptist Church . Later in life he joined First Baptist Church both in Vance South Carolina. He served as a Choirman and Deacon for many years. He was also a member of the Christian Aid Society.
He was preceded in death by both parents and wife Adelle Haigler Wright: six brothers, Epheghus Wright, Luther Wright, West W. Wright, Jethro Wright, Joshua Wright, Caleb Wright and six sisters, Aretha Wright Murray, Mary Lee Wright Green, Margaret Wright Chapman, Bessie Mae Wright, Aiken Elizabeth Wright Sinkler, Esther Wright Wright.
He leaves to cherish his memory; two sons Robert H. Wright, Samuel L. Wright. Two Daughters; Carolyn M. Wright, Veronica M. Wright, daught-in-law Jennifer M. Wright, grand sons; Tyrone Wright, Rodney Wright and Robert H. Wright Jr., granddaughters; Raquel Wright, Bridgette Wright and two great-granddaughters, Jadyn and Brielle.
One surviving sister, Alqueen Wright Myers of Bronx, NY and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
