WINSTED – Henry W. Haburey, Sr., passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 19, 2019. He was the loving husband of Clara (DeSanti) Haburey for 60 years this June. Born in Torrington; the son of the late Steve and Jennie Haburey. Henry proudly served in the U.S. Navy. He loved fishing and hunting and had a great sense of humor. In addition to his beloved wife, he leaves a son, Henry W. Haburey, Jr.; daughter, Susan Brelo and husband Paul; brother, Steven Habery; cherished granddaughter, Cara Rovella; his much loved cat, Mollie; many nieces, nephews and countless friends. He was predeceased by two brothers, Edward Haburey and Robert Haburey.
