Henry “Pete†William Huffman, 62, of 308 Tobacco Road, Dry Fork, died Tuesday, April 13, 2010 at Danville Regional Medical Center. Born August 31, 1947 in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of Nora Emerson Huffman Evans and the late Henry B. Huffman. He was married to Peggy Edmunds Huffman of the residence. Pete was employed with Times Fiber Communications Inc. and was a member of Hopewell United Methodist Church. In addition to his wife and his mother, he is survived by a daughter, Amy Huffman and a son, Chad Huffman, both of Dry Fork; one sister, Rebecca H. Krol of Mt. Ulla, NC and a brother Victor James Huffman of Cross Hill, SC. He is also survived by a grandson, Alex W. Huffman of Vernon Hill. In addition to his father, he was predeceased by one sister, Rachel Huffman.
