Malkiewicz, age 78, of Trumbull, died February 15, 2005 in his home. Mr. Malkiewicz was born in Mt. Vernon, N.Y., the son of the late William and Victoria Jachimowicz Malkiewicz and resided in Trumbull since 1969. He was a retired engineer for Norden Systems where he was employed for over twenty years and was a member of the Norden’s Retirees Club. He was a graduate of New York University and was a WWII Navy veteran, serving on the USS Buckley. An avid golfer, he was a long time member of the Brownson Country Club. Mr. Malkiewicz was predeceased by his wife, Sondra Miller Malkiewicz and his brother Stanley Malkiewicz. Survivors include two sons, Steven Malkiewicz and his wife, Cheryl of Stamford,CT and Thomas Malkiewicz and his wife, Gina of Alpharetta ,GA, four grandchildren, Tyler, Jack, Carly and Sam and two nieces.
