Henry Leon Blackwelder, 58, of Satsuma, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, July 12, 2021, at Putnam Community Medical Center. He was a native and lifelong resident of Putnam County. Henry had worked many years as a concrete finisher in the construction industry and had most recently worked in lawn service. He enjoyed fishing and shooting the pool. Henry especially enjoyed building bonfires and spending time with his family.
He is preceded in death by his father, John Blackwelder, Jr., and sister, Lucy Blackwelder.
He is survived by his sons, Randall Brock of Palatka, Chad Blackwelder (Kayla), and Chett Glisson both of Kentucky, mother, Frankie Blackwelder of Satsuma, special friend of 35 years, Traycie Monroe, brothers, Jerry Blackwelder (Debbie), Charles Blackwelder (Nikki) and David Blackwelder (Doris), sisters, Mary Vega (Pedro) and Betty Hammond all of Putnam County, grandchildren, Abigail Caudill, Parker Jones, Luke, and Emerson Glisson, Harper, Nova, Halyn and Auriana Brock and one on the way. Henry is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other extended family members.
