Henry Land, 79, of Greensburg, passed away on Tuesday, April 26, 2016, at Decatur County Memorial Hospital.
Born May 13, 1936, in Hamilton, Ohio, he was the son of Henry and Dorothy (Lee) Land. Henry worked for Delta Faucet Co. for 37 years before retiring in 2002. He was a member of the First Church of God. He was also a member of Wyaloosing Creek Golf Course, the Eagles Lodge, and the Sons of the American Legion. He enjoyed golfing with the guys and going to the casino with his wife. He also enjoyed NASCAR and Jeff Gordon was his favorite driver. He married Alma Gannon on November 24, 1955, and she survives.
He is also survived by his son; Garry (Rebecca) Land, Greensburg, grandsons; Shawn (Valerie) Land, Kyle (Amanda) Land, Anthony Land, and granddaughter; Stacie (Ricky) Gilmore, great-grandchildren; Cady, Charlee, Zoey, and Trent, brother; Larry Land of Florida, and sisters; Dottie Ray, Hamilton, OH, Betty Austin and Patty Lee of Greensburg.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter who died at birth, a daughter-in-law; Debbie (Marshall) Land, and brothers; Ernie, Ralph, Bill, and Walter Land.
