Henry “Crutch” King, 87, of Markleville, passed away April 18, 2015 at his residence in Markleville, IN.
He was born October 25, 1927 in Saluda, IN , and resided most of his life in Markleville. He was retired from I. U. O. E . He worked previously for M.K. Betts as a Crain Operator for several years. He was a member of East 38th Street Free Will Baptist Church. He served his country in the Merchant Marines and served in the Korean War. He enjoyed amateur radio operating, where his handle was W90JH. He was also a pilot.
Henry is survived by his wife, Wanda (Phillips) King, of Markleville, daughter, Connie (Paul) Klungness of Markleville, two sisters, Jean Epperson of Saluda, IN, and Barbara Clapp of Saluda, IN. He was also survived by several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Robin King, parents, John and Stella King, brother, Norman King and a sister-law, Edna Vaughn.
