Henry F. Eiler, 70, Anderson, died May 26, 2009 at St. Johns Health System, Anderson Indiana after an extended illness.
He was born October 25, 1938 in Anderson, Indiana. Henry fulfilled his life-long dream by moving to Florida and living there for six years.
Henry and Dorothy moved back to their hometown in 2001. He enjoyed many hobbies.
He retired from Guide Lamp Division of General Motors in 1995 after 40 plus years.
He is survived by his wife whom he married October 26, 1957, Dorothy Stines Eiler; son, Greg & wife Cheryl Eiler of Anderson; siblings, Norm & wife Judy Eiler of Anderson and Nondas & husband Bob Williams of Anderson; Brothers-in-law & Sisters-in-law, John & Carol Stines of Virginia and Theresa & Mike Day of Kentucky; special dog, Chyna; many friends; several nieces, nephews and cousins. He loved time with his grandkids which include, Douglas Eiler, Stephanie & husband Tristan Shepard, and Michael Eiler; great-grandson, Brian Eiler and one due in December.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John & Thelma Garner Eiler and sister, Marilyn Thornburg.
