He was preceded in death by his sister, Nancy is survived by his wife Beulah Evans, son, Wesley Evans and wife, Lisa of Durham; two daughters, Deborah Ortega and husband, Pedro of Carrboro and Anne Evans of Rougemont; two brothers, Benny and Billy Evans both of Durham; one sister, Anne Boone of Knotts Island, N.C. and two grandchildren, Ryan and Wesley Evans.
