The life of Henry Cyril Thomas began when he was born on February 2, 1958, in Elizabeth, New Jersey to his parents, the late Henry Clay Thomas, better known as “AC Thomas”, and Emily “Babe” Prather Thomas. He was raised surrounded by his brother, Peter Marshall Earl and his sisters, Muriel and Trunice. As a child, he was affectionately called “Bosco”, a name given him by his grandfather, Anderson Prather because he loved Bosco Chocolate Syrup. His brother, Peter gave him the nickname “Bear”. He loved to roller skate, go the beach where he enjoyed the sea shore and ride his bike in the mountains. He was very protective of his family and they all shared many happy and precious moments together. Henry received his formal education by attending Jefferson Elementary School, Burnet Jr. High School and he graduated from Union High School all in New Jersey. He furthered his education by attending the Lincoln Technical Institute where he completed courses in heating, air conditioning and refrigeration (HVAC) which allowed him to obtain his Boiler License. On December 1, 1976, Henry enlisted in the United States Army. He was stationed in Frankfurt, Germany. He served with honor and distinction and was honorably discharged. He relocated to Denver, Colorado and became employed by Coors Brewery and the Denver Housing Authority. He is remembered as being hard working, dependable and dedicated. He has resided in the Denver Metro area for over thirty years. Henry was a fun loving man who enjoyed life and those he encircled.
