On Friday April 29, 2016, Mr. Henry Benjamin Myers, 80, of Glen Burnie, passed away at the Baltimore Washington Medical Center, surrounded by his family and friends. Mr. Myers was born in Baltimore, MD, on February 4, 1936, to Abraham and Alice Myers. Henry honorably served our country in the Army from 1959 – 1962. He was co-owner of Myers Plant Farm which was located on Quarterfield Road in Severn. He also worked at Woods Memorial Presbyterian Church. Mr. Myers was Past Exalted Ruler of the Glen Burnie Elks Lodge #2266 for the years of 1973 and 2004. Henry enjoyed H.O. scale model trains and was a history buff.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Barbara Myers (nee Kelban), his children: Keith Myers, Scott Myers and his wife Rebecca, and Kimberly Tran and her husband Chi, his grandchildren: Aidan Shearin-Myers, Samantha Tran, and Benjamin Tran, and his sisters: Frances Landry, Agnes Campbell, Mary Manning, and Emma Matthews, along with numerous nieces and nephews. Henry was preceded in death by his brothers, George and Thomas Myers.
