Henrietta M. Politi, 90, of Bethlehem Township, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 23, 2012, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Muhlenberg. She was the wife of Edilo Politi, with whom she shared over 74 years of marriage. Born in Bethlehem, Henrietta was a daughter of the late Samuel R. and Bessie F. (Wright) Smith. She was a member of the Nancy Run Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary, and also of Epworth United Methodist Church. She enjoyed bowling, playing cards and Scrabble. She will be lovingly remembered by her family and friends. Survivors: Husband Edilo; sons Dale Politi and wife Karlene of Scottsdale, AZ, Nicholas Politi and wife Alberta of Bethlehem, Philip Politi and wife Karen of Bethlehem; daughter Carole Hay and husband Kenneth of Bethlehem; 13 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren. Henreitta was predeceased by her sisters Bessie Horne and Susanne Morris, and her brother, Samuel Smith.
