Henrietta Laughary, 87, of Jacksonville, IL died Thursday, June 6, 2013 at Heritage Health in Jacksonville.
She was born October 12, 1925 in Mt. Vernon, the daughter of William Henry and Fannie Young Fisher. She married Thomas Lee Willmore in 1942 and they later divorced. She married Charles W. Megginson in 1956 and he preceded her in death in 1985. She later married Carl Lewis Laughary in 1989 and he preceded her in death in 1997.
She is survived by a daughter, Joyce Autery (husband, Eddie) of Jacksonville; a son, Ronald Willmore (wife, Janice) of Lincoln; a step-son, Tom Megginson (wife, Nina) of Florida; six grandchildren, Christina Lauer (husband, Dr. John) of Mattoon, Cindy Stevens (husband, Tom) of Jacksonville, Edward Autery (wife, Jodie) of Jacksonville, Joy Greer (husband, Jason) of Des Moines, IA, Jennifer Keithley (husband, Pastor David) of Normal, and Amy Willmore of Louisville, KY; 18 great grandchildren; and 3 great great grandchildren.
Mrs. Laughary was formerly employed as an aide for the Jacksonville Developmental Center and attended First Christian Church. She enjoyed cooking, flower gardening and spending time with family, friends and neighbors.
