Mrs. Fillastre was born July 15, 1928 in Frankfurt, Germany. She moved to Lakeland in 1948 after marrying Alvin J. Fillastre, Jr.
Mrs. Fillastre was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 63 years, Dr. Alvin J. Fillastre, Jr. She is survived by her son, Alvin J. Fillastre III; daughter, Peggy Cowie; grandchildren, Anneliese Hunter, Sydney Williams, Phillip Fillastre, and Joey Fillastre; and 5 great grandchildren.
The Fillastre family will celebrate her life privately Friday, July 25, 2014, from 4- 6 p.m.
