Helene C. O’Hara, age 80, of Fairfield, passed away peacefully Monday February 1, 2016 in her home. Born in Bridgeport the daughter of the late Adolph and Helen Brazis, she had been a lifelong Fairfield resident.
A graduate of Roger Ludlowe High School, she was employed as an administrative assistant for local businesses including Gilroy & Gilhuly and also worked for a number of years for Jacques Cousteau. She was a member of the Gaelic American Club and loved to socialize with her favorite group of friends. Survivors include her beloved and devoted daughter, Maureen O’Hara and her companion Joe McCormack of Milford. She was predeceased by her husband, Thomas O’Hara, granddaughter, Stephanie O’Hara and brother, Richard Brazis.
