Helena H. Hastings, 91, of Rising Sun, IN, passed away at 5:10 PM, Saturday, May 1st, at The Waters of Rising Sun. Helena was born in Boone County, KY on July 29, 1918, a daughter of the late Grace Julia (Beall) and John Utzinger. Helena spent most of her youth in Northern Kentucky and graduated from Hebron Consolidated School in the spring of 1937. It is here where she learned to play the piano.
