Born in Grammeni Oxia, Greece to Charles & Effie Leaskas. Helen came to St. Paul with her family in 1946 and was a true American Patriot. Helen was an active member of St. George Greek Orthodox Church, Greek Dancers of Minnesota, Daughters of Penelope, Philoptochos Society, Girl Scouts of Minnesota, The Statue of Liberty-Ellis Island Foundation, Arbor Day Foundation, and Minnesota Heart Fund.
