Helen Z. Inglis, 93, of Plainville, wife of the late W. Robert Inglis, died peacefully at home on Saturday, August 21st. Born in Middletown on June 29, 1917, she was the daughter of the late Marion and Helen (Nowakowski) Zywocienski. Helen worked as a timekeeper, six years with Remington Rand and thirty years with Pratt and Whitney Aircraft in East Hartford, North Haven and Middletown. She is survived by a daughter, Margaret Osborn and her husband Richard of Plainville; six grandchildren, Paul Aiudi of New York City, Jonathan Aiudi of Plainville, Ellen Valentin and her husband Henry of Burlington, Robert L. Inglis of Manchester, Alicia Cavallo of Unionville and Richard E. Inglis of Vernon; five great grandchildren, Alexandra and Sean Aiudi, Kelly, Elana and Connor Valentin; a sister, Jeannette Dzialo of Middletown; and several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband and parents, she was predeceased by a son, Robert M. Inglis; three brothers, John, Edward, and Charles Zywocienski; three sisters, Tina Chester, Sophie Gilooly, Florence Kowalewski. The family extends special thanks to the staff at The Reservoir in West Hartford, Companions and Homemakers, and the Hospice Unit of Central CT VNA.
