Helen Valerie McKinney, 51, of Lebanon and formerly of East Hampton and Columbia,passed away suddenly Monday morning, January 5, 2015.
Born November 16, 1963 in Middletown, she was a daughter of Helen (Morehouse) Allen of Willimantic and the late Cecil Allen.
Helen was a branch assistant manager in the East Hampton branch of the Savings Institute Bank and Trust Co. She was an active member of the local business community in Lebanon, serving on the Board of Directors of the Lebanon Connecticut Business Association where she held the title of Media Coordinator and she also served with many different committees for projects and events over the years. Helen was also a member of the Windham Chamber of Commerce and the Colchester Business Association with her husband Scott and their business known as All Washed Up Power Washing. Helen was an avid reader but will be remembered fondly by all who knew her as a devoted wife, mother, and friend,with a kind and gentle character. Her favorite times were when family and friends gathered together.
Helen will be sadly missed but always remembered by her husband Scott, her mother, Helen Allen; Sons, Justin Allen and Michael Constant, both of Columbia; a daughter, Caitlyn Constant of Lebanon; two grandchildren; a brother, Hugh Allen of Lebanon; a sister, Bertha Indellicati of Lebanon; her former husband, Brian Constant and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
