Helen Savoia of Port Saint Lucie, Florida passed away on Dec 29, 2019.
Helen was born in Brooklyn, New York to the late Michael and Margaret Sbarra. She remained in Brooklyn until she moved to Port St. Lucie 22 years ago. In addition to her parents, Helen was preceded in death by her husband Joseph Savoia and her son-in-law Bernard Buttafuoco.
Helen was a member of the Holy Family Catholic Church. She was quite good at making crafts and often made rosaries and the cross in the pocket which she donated to Holy Family Catholic Church for the parishioners. Helen also enjoyed going to the arcades.
Helen is survived by her daughter Donna Buttafuoco and son Joseph Savoia, daughter-in-law Jeanmarie Savoia; grandchildren Nicholas, Samantha, Anthony, Jenna, and Carolyn; great-grandchildren Gianna and Franco; and her brother Julius “Joe” Sbarra.
