Helen Schnee Stuckey, 55 On Tuesday May 20, 2014 Helen Schnee Stuckey passed away at the Westchester Medical Center surrounded by her family. Helen was born to Pia and Bruno Schnee on March 3, 1959 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. She graduated from Danbury High School Class of 1978 and Southern Connecticut State College Class of 1982. Helen (White) had been in publishing for over 25 years and was very passionate about her work. Her career started with Harmon Publishing. With a high level of experience in print production she developed her own magazine, The Home Resource Guide, for Fairfield and Westchester Counties. Helen then launched her current online publication, (HRG) a luxury Home Design Source Book. She had extensive experience in event productions as well as being a website designer and Social Media Marketer. Through her charity home design shows, including The CT Home Design Expo, now operated by Connecticut Expos, Helen has raised funds for numerous charitable organizations such as The American Red Cross, Fairfield County Safe Kids, and AmeriCares. Helen enjoyed travel, skiing, sailing, dancing and fishing in the Catskills with her niece and nephew. She faced her challenges with courage and dignity and will be missed by family and friends. Helen was preceded in death by her father Bruno Schnee. Helen is survived by her mother Pia Schnee of Danbury, CT, her sister Joanne and her husband Douglas Schmeltz of Danbury, CT, her brother Richard and his wife Dianne Schnee and their children Megan, Melissa and Derek of Newtown, CT.
