Indian Orchard – Helen Sajdak, 88, died Monday, August 31, 2009 at home. Born in Wilbraham, the daughter of George Albert and Katherine (Stepien) Szymczyk, Helen was a lifelong resident of Indian Orchard and a graduate of the High School of Commerce and Bay Path Junior College.
Predeceased by her parents and her husband, Stanley F. Sajdak, a WWII veteran who passed away in 1972, Helen leaves three daughters, Marcia Hickey and her husband, James, of Wareham, MA, Cynthia DaSilva and her husband, Ilido, of Ludlow, MA and Linda Basal and her husband, Joseph of Douglas, MA; a sister, Stella Piecuch of Indian Orchard; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and many other family members.
