Helen S. (Shannon) Reppin, 95, of Peru, passed away, Thursday, March 5, 2020 at Heritage Healthcare Center in Peru. Mrs. Reppin was born September 14, 1924 in Hodgenville, KY to James and Anita (Warren) Shannon. She married Clarence A. Reppin on June 19, 1941 at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Mendota; they were married for 74 years. He passed away on February 23, 2015. She attended beauty school and was a homemaker. She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church where she was active in the Lady’s Guild. She also enjoyed playing in several card playing groups.
She is survived by a daughter, Judith M. Zywica of Peru; a son, James (Paula) Reppin of Palm Harbor, FL; seven grandchildren, Mike (Julie) Zywica, Traci (Jeff) Aimone, Shari (Chris) Ellsworth, Jennifer Sprayberry, Shannon Reppin, JP Reppin and Austin Reppin; 14 great-grandchildren, Shanna Wasik, Heather Leimbach, Brian Wasik, Jessica (Kyle) Janiak, Mackenzie Zywica, Michael Zywica, Mitchell Aimone, Morgan Zywica, Jase Sprayberry and Ben Fain; one great-great granddaughter, Jaclyn Janiak; two sisters, Ella Bayne Mahar of Mendota and Joyce Setchell of Mendota and one brother, Jerald Shannon of Mendota.She is preceded in death by her husband, Clarence; daughter Connie Prow, her parents and one brother, Patrick Shannon.
