Helen “Snider” Blackburn, 95 of Grafton, passed away Monday, April 5, 2010 at Grafton City Hospital. She was born November 4, 1914 in Grafton, a daughter of the late John W. and Nora Ellen Menear Snider. She was preceded in death by her husband Earl Roy “Blackie” Blackburn and her sister Beulah Ruth Grimes. She is survived by her very special friends and caregivers, Fred and Patty White. She was a member of the Church of the Good Shepherd Church. She was a Retired School Teacher, member of the Grafton Naomi Chapter Order of the Eastern Star No. 12, GFWC of Grafton for over 70 years, The Alpha Delta Kappa Teachers Sorority, Association of Retired School Employees, Former member of the Business and Professional Women’s Club and she loved playing bridge with her friends.
