Helen Rebecca “Becky” Grothe (nee Knatz) of Essex, died Thursday December 7, 2017; devoted mother of Sarah R. Hahn, Michael D. Grothe and his wife Debbie, Patrick “Reds” Grothe and his wife Dee; Timothy A. Grothe and his wife Peggy and Buddy Grothe and his wife Angie; dear sister of Phyllis Green and sister-in-law Bea Thomas; her dear cousin Dorothy Swan. Also survived by 12 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, 2 great great-grandchildren and many loving family members and friends.
Becky was born March 9, 1930 in Owings Mills MD, she was the daughter of the late Philip Knatz and Mary Turnbaugh Knatz.
