Helen R. Gunia, 98, of LaSalle, passed away Thursday, September 19, 2019 at Heritage Healthcare Center, Peru.
Helen was born on June 6, 1921 in LaSalle to Frank and Rose (Mis) Gunia. She worked at Westclox in Peru for more than 43 years.
She was a member of St. Hyacinth’s Church, LaSalle and was a member of the Blessed Mother Sodality. Even though Helen had no children of her own, she was always thoughtful and generous with her nieces and nephews; acts of kindness that will never be forgotten.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and nine brothers and sisters.
