Went to be with the Lord Saturday morning September 30, 2017. Helen was born February 14, 1933 in Birmingham, Alabama the daughter of Buford and Lura (Johnson) Hall. She had been a Kalamazoo area resident since 1972 and was employed with Redwood and Ross Distribution Center for 7 years before retiring.
Helen was also a member of Agape Christian Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Phil W. Tindle on January 2, 1979; and her second husband, Ray Dawson on June 2, 1995. Helen is survived by 4 children, Barbara James of Kalamazoo, Robert (Jeanie) Tindle of Roscommon, MI, Wanda (Loyal) Perry of Plainwell, and David (Pauline) Tindle of Kalamazoo; 8 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
