Helen (Was) Parzyck, 94, of New Britain, passed away on Friday, April 17, 2015. She was the beloved wife of the late Edward Parzyck. Born in New Britain to the late Michael and Louise Was, Helen was a lifelong resident and was a parishioner of Holy Cross Church and its Ladies’ Guild. Left to mourn her passing are her daughters Cynthia Sarnowski and her husband, Alan of Cromwell and Christine Kawiecki and her husband, Charles of Harwinton; grandchildren: Lisa Aresco-Smith and her husband Jeremy, Bryan Sarnowski and his wife Jane and Erik Sarnowski; great-grandchildren Brady and Kelsie Smith and Caroline and Carter Sarnowski; her sister Genevieve Bish of Middletown and several nieces and nephews.
