Helen O. Hartman, 94, a twenty-two year resident of Rockledge, FL, died in hospice on June 22, 2019. Born March 21, 1925, in Punxatawney, PA, she was the daughter of H. Hale Hollingsworth, MD, and Ruth I. Hollingsworth. Mrs. Hartman was raised in Clifton, NJ, and she, her parents, brother and sister, and later their families, enjoyed summers in Seaside Park, NJ. She was predeceased by her husband of 63 years, Robert F. Hartman, Jr. They met in 1943 while both were attending Swarthmore College.
Mrs. Hartman was a wonderful wife, mother and homemaker, who loved nothing more than cooking, sewing and taking care of her family. In recent years, she loved to read and play games on her iPad. Survivors include five sons, Robert F. Hartman III, Edward H. Hartman, Peter J. Hartman, Jeffrey W. Hartman, and Thomas W. Hartman; seven grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.
