Helen N. Makray, 86, of Willimantic, widow of Geza Makray, died after a long illness, Monday April 1, 2002 at home with her family at her side. She was born January 17, 1916 in New York City, the daughter of the late Bertalan and Helen (Halasz) Juhasz. She grew up in Hungary and returned to the United States in 1931. She had been employed by the American Thread Company for 11 years and then at the Mansfield State Training School for 11 years, retiring in 1976.
