Helen Marie Miller, age 94 of Nashville, TN passed away peacefully March 11, 2018, surrounded by her family in Dickson after a five year struggle with Alzheimer’s and dementia. Helen was born February 25, 1924 in Mansfield, OH to Fred Newman and Dora Jane Cole Miller.Helen loved growing up on the family farm in Ohio. She moved to Nashville in 1964 where she worked as an accounting manager until retirement. She continued working as a beloved nanny and caregiver until she was 86. Family was a priority for her and she never missed a wedding, graduation, reunion, or significant family life event. She was known to travel to family members’ homes to help with new babies, the elderly or for illness. She will be remembered for her willingness to learn new things and she never hesitated to try new adventures.
