Helen Mar Reno Kryk, age 87, of El Paso, Texas, a former Salem, Ohio resident, died Friday morning, December 21, 2012 in El Paso, Texas. She was born, January 27, 1925 in Alliance, Ohio, the daughter of the late Ross and Essie (Ritchey) Reno. Helen worked in the payroll department at Strong Enamel for four years. She was a former member of the Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Salem and was a graduate of Damascus High School. She was a Salem area resident for 45 years before moving to North Carolina. Her husband, John S. Kryk, whom she married February 3, 1946, preceded her in death August 18, 2004. A son, Jeffrey “Jeff” Kryk and a daughter, Vicki Kryk, also preceded Helen in death. Survivors include a brother, Bruce (Mary) Reno of El Paso, Texas and numerous nieces and nephews.
