Helen M. Sunday, 83, of West West Terrace passed away peacefully on Friday Morning. Born in Buck Run, Schuylkill County, she was the daughter of the late Stanley and Kathryn (Horba) Michaelcavage. She attended the Cass Township schools. She was employed by the Schuylkill County Election Bureau for 29 years, having retired as the Assistant Director in 1992. Helen enjoyed knitting and crocheting afghans and clothing, in addition to painting ceramics for her family and friends. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Minersville. Survivors: Surviving are two sons, John M. Sunday of Allentown, Randy S. of Minersville; grandson Randall J., granddaughter Amanda J., and her fiancé Michael Kutz; and great-granddaughter Abby; A sister, Josephine Roscoe of West West Terrace; nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death, were her husband John G., in 1985; her daughter-in-law Jane, in 2015; brothers Michael, Nicholas, John, Stiney, and a sister, Eva Hertz.
