Helen Margaret Sheppard, age 79, of Hanoverton, died at 2:10 a.m. Friday, January 30, 2015 at the Salem Regional Medical Center in Salem. She was born February 6, 1935 in Oberlin, Ohio, the daughter of the late Frank and Loretta (Jenkins) Gamble. She was a member of the Harvest Baptist Church of Lisbon. She is survived by her husband, James R. Sheppard, whom she married February 13, 1955; two sons, Michael J. Sheppard of Rogers, Lester A. (Tammie) Sheppard of Salem; one daughter, Rebecca (Russell) Miller of Hanoverton; a sister, Frances Rotuno; and brother, Charles (Cindy) Gamble. Also preceded in death by five sisters, Mary Miller, Lil Tegtmeyer, Eleanor Hinkle, Betty Brock, and Marie Bliss; and five brothers, Bill, Melvin, Paul, Cecil, and David Gamble.
