Helen M. Palenchar, 95, formerly of Laufer St, Bethlehem, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 30, 2015 at Gracedale Nursing Home, Nazareth. Born in Bethlehem, she was the daughter of the late Adam and Margaret (Krizovensky) Palenchar. She was a housekeeper at Lehigh University, as well as cleaning private residences. Helen was a member of Incarnation of our Lord Roman Catholic Church, and of the Holy Ghost Senior Citizens’ Club. She was also a member of the Immaculate Conception Lodge, the Rosary Society, and the Legion of Mary. Survivors: nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings Anna Baran and Johnny, Stephen, Michael and Joseph Palenchar.
