Helen M. Kenaga, age 89 of Midland died Tuesday, March 20, 2012 at the King’s Daughters Home. The daughter of the late Fredrick W. and Anna (Schneider) Schawdaski was born on May 31, 1922 in Detroit and attended Howell High School. On December 4, 1948 she married Kenneth Kenaga and he predeceased her on November 19, 2000. Helen was a long time member of the First United Methodist Church and an active volunteer with the church for over 36years. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, painting and handicrafts.
Helen is survived by her son Harold Kenaga of Midland and sisters Ruth Schawdaski and Anna Seer both of Midland. She was predeceased by her brother Fredrick Schawdaski and sisters Gertrude Koga and Irene Kleinhans.
