Helen M. Bogard, 93, of 1384 N. Henderson St., Galesburg, died at 1:50 p.m. on Wednesday, July 9, 2008 at Seminary Manor, Galesburg.
Helen was born on September 28, 1914 in Knoxville the daughter of Harry and Ada Utter Fox. She married John T. Bogard on September 25, 1936. He died in 1976. Helen was a homemaker and loving mother to her two children, June E. “Bettie” Patterson and William H. “Bill” (Helen) Bogard both of Galesburg.
Also surviving are 4 grandchildren, Michael L. (and Danita) Pierce of Rigby, Idaho, Deborah R. (and Michael) Collier of Galesburg, Andrea Bogard and Beverly (Ted) Fearn both of Boise, Idaho; 3 great grandchildren, William I. Pierce of South Dakota, Katie E. Collier and April M. Collier both of Galesburg. Other survivors include several nieces and nephews including Alice Fox-Mahalovich.
Helen was a member of Corpus Christi Catholic Church.
