Helen M. Anderson, 95, of Upton, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 4, 2019, at the Beaumont Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center in Northbridge. She was the beloved wife to Robert E. Anderson, Sr.
Born in Quebec, Canada, on June 22, 1924, she was a daughter of the late Martin and Florence (Steele) Brooks. She was raised and educated in Canada and then moved to the United States of America after she graduated High School. She was then employed as a Stewardess for Northeast Airlines and prior to retirement she was employed as a Clerical Worker for Milford Regional Hospital.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her four children, Robert May and his wife Lynne, of Oakham, Christopher May and his wife Linda, of Hudson, ME, Marsha May Morse and her husband George, of Northbridge, and Richard May and his wife Kate, of Hardwick; her step-children, Robert Anderson, Jr. of North Grosvenordale, CT, and Mary Spooner of Camarillo, CA; her sister, Lyla Parkinson and her husband Harley, of Chateauguay, Quebec; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchild; and many nieces and nephews.
She is predeceased by her siblings, Robert Brooks, Russell Brooks, James Brooks, Mable Allen, and Iris Taylor.
The Anderson family would like to thank the entire staff at the Beaumont Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center in Northbridge for their dedicated compassion and care that Helen received over the last few years.
