Helen Lozmack, age 88, of Three Oaks, died peacefully Thursday, June 21, 2018. Helen was born March 28, 1930 in Galien, Michigan to Russell and Faye (Harroff) Wright. She married George Lozmack on October 28, 1950 in St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church in Three Oaks, Michigan, sharing 64 years together. He died January 30, 2015. Helen graduated from Galien High School as valedictorian in 1946 at the age of 16.
She was employed by Buchanan Credit Union for 10 years. She and her husband George owned and operated a grain and dairy farm; retiring in 1994. Helen enjoyed reading, bingo, crossword puzzles, bowling, and their annual Army convention trips all over the country. Helen will be greatly missed by family and friends. She is survived by daughters Teresa (William) Schiller of Sawyer, Cathy (Richard) Brey of Pocatello, Idaho, and Diane Lozmack of Three Oaks; grandchildren James, Jason, John, Paulina, and Richard; great grandchildren Voka, James, and Reeves.Sister Jean (Gerald) Pilot of Galien; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her brother Hubert Wright and sister Judith Wright.
