Our loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and sister, Helen Lorena Gabaldon passed away October 19, 2022 peacefully at home. She was born September 30, 1947 in Durango, CO. To Emma (Melaquias) Martinez.
She was a devoted Broncos fan, enjoyed gambling in Wendover, and spending time with family. Especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her straight forward, witty, outgoing personality will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She was a loving, strong, independent, big-hearted woman who would give her all to her family.
She is survived by her daughters: Lisa Jaramillo-Nabor and Lorena Jaramillo; Grandchildren: Lucario (Brittney) Garcia, Monica Garcia, and Hallie Jaramillo; Great Grandchildren: Lilyana Garcia, Tiana Garcia, Journie Garcia, and Alonso Ramirez; Brothers: Abraham (Carolina) Martinez, Lonnie Martinez, and Mark Martinez; and sister: Becky (Rick) Martinez; plus many nieces and nephews.
Proceeded in Death by her husband Eugene Gabaldon, Daughter: AnnaMaria Jaramillo; Son: Junior Jaramillo; Mother: Emma Martinez; Father: Melaquias Martinez; Brother: Tomas Martinez; and Sister: Patsy (David) Fullwood.
