Helen L. Pepelea 86 of Clinton passed away at 6:38am in Union Hospital Terre
Haute on Nov 5, 2012. She was born on March 15, 1926 in Clinton to Fitzhugh
Wheeler and Stella Sparks Wheeler. She had worked at Zeneth and was a
homemaker. She was a member of the Half Century Club, Senior Citizens and
the Ladies Auxiallary American Legion.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Eugene Pepelea, two sons
Gary Pepelea and Rocky Pepelea, two brothers Bill Wheeler and Tom Wheeler,
two sisters Mary Boren and Rachel Benson.
She is survived by her daughter Donna MacLaren of Clinton, two sisters Pauline
Downing of Danville, IN., and Shirley Damiana of Columbus, OH. Grandchildren;
Rocky Pepelea Jr., Tona Pepelea, Brent Pepelea, Brandon Pepelea, Jonathan Sills,
Amanda Sills-Frink, Meghan Pepelea and Michelle Pepelea. Several great grand-
children and nieces and nephews. Also, two daughter in laws Blythe Pepelea and
Kim Pepelea.
