Helen L. Vess Nevin Thomas, 86, Anderson, went to be with her Lord & Savior, May 18, 2012 at St. Johns Health System.
She was born January 31, 1926 in Indiana, and retired from Guide Division of General Motors. Helen enjoyed spending winters in Florida, traveling, crocheting, old movies, and doing word search puzzles. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family. She is survived by her sons, Kenneth Nevin & Terry Maria “Alma” Nevin; daughter-in-law, Deborah Nevin; sister, Mary Dodd Pete; seven grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; several nieces & nephews and special pet, Sammy.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Joseph “JC” Thomas & Charles Oscar Nevin; parents, William & Agnes Hilt Vess; son, Charles “Dave” Nevin; and a brother, William Vess.
