Helen Louise Davidson, 90, of Newton passed away on Monday, February 14, 2022, at Newton Health Care Center.
Helen, the daughter of Verl and Florence (Rabenau) Johnson was born on August 17, 1931 in Deep River, Iowa. The family moved to Newton where Helen graduated from Newton High School in 1949.
In 1959, the family moved to an acreage in rural Newton. Clarence worked as a millwright/machinist and a Product Development Tech for the Maytag Company. Helen worked for many years at Newton Manufacturing Company in accounting and then with the Vernon Company as an order taker. She grew huge gardens, preserved and canned food and enjoyed crafts of all kinds.
