Helen Zsilavec, 84, formerly of Bethlehem passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 6, 2008, at Gracedale Nursing Home in Upper Nazareth. She was the wife of Evan Zsilavec who died in 1994. Born in Bethlehem, she was the daughter of the late William and Lena (Novak) Kerecz. Helen was a homemaker and dedicated her life to her children. Survivors: She will be sadly missed by her daughters Joan Zilavec of Bethlehem and Jan Barkis and her husband Steven of Macungie; sons Evan Zilavec and Eugene Zilavec and his wife Julie all of Bethlehem; brother William Novak of Florida; grandchildren Karisa, Kyle and Taylor Barkis and Amy Zilavec.
