Helen Josephine Aubut, 65, of Great Falls, passed away Monday, October 31, 2016 of natural causes at Benefis Healthcare.
Helen was born on February 14, 1951, in Havre, MT to Christopher and Clara (Spoonheim) Nissen. She was raised and educated in Havre.
In 1969, Helen married Paul Aubut. To their union, daughters Kara and Jennifer were born.
Helen worked full-time as a housekeeper at a local nursing home, there she made many life-long friends. She was a single mother who devoted her life to raising her daughters.
She was kind hearted and always tried to help those before herself. She loved collecting Angels, reading books, poetry, cooking and baking cookies.
Helen is survived by her loving daughters, Kara Janvrin, of Amesbury, MA and Jennifer Dumont, of Rochester, NH; eight grandchildren; sisters, Sarah Molkie, of Kenneshaw, GA, and Christine Goodwin, of Crown Point, IN; and brothers, Marvin Nissen, of Havre, MT and Frank Nissen, of Great Falls.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
