Helen Munson Jephson, 91, longtime resident of Coltman, passed away at her home on July 20, 2018, from causes incident to age.
Helen was born on December 9, 1926, in Milo, Idaho, to Swen and Carrie Munson. She lived in Milo early on, then the family moved to the farm in Coltman. Helen attended Fairview Elementary and Ucon High school. She married Bob (Leslie Allen) Jephson in Tyler, Texas, on November 18, 1944, just before Bob headed off to fight in WWII. Their union was later solemnized in the Idaho Falls L.D.S. Temple on November 25, 1964. She worked hard all of her life, regularly making sacrifices for her family. In addition to caring for her family and home, Helen kept the books for the farming and dairy business, milked cows, sold milk to neighbors, and any other job that needed to be done.
