Helen Huffman, 83 of Marquess, passed away Wednesday, March 24, 2010 at Preston Memorial Hospital. Helen was born in Sinclair on August 16, 1926, daughter of the late Jonas J and Chloe Knotts Murray. Helen worked at Sterling Faucet for 39 years. She was a member of the Tunnelton VFW Ladies Auxiliary #2345. Helen was a huge WV Mountaineer Fan. She loved gardening, cooking, traveling, being outdoors and spending time with family. She attended the Newburg Senior Center. Surviving are three sons, Larry Franklin Huffman and Gloria of Marquess, James Dexter “Jimmy” Huffman and Theresa, Fellowsville, Kenneth Dale Huffman and Tina, Stevensburg; eight grandchildren, Clarissa K Shipp, Marquess, Dr. Jamette R Garrett and John, Princeton, WV, Crystal A Huffman, Morgantown, Rachelle L Huffman, Fellowsville, Dexter S Huffman and Whitney, Marquess, Brandon D Huffman and Joy, Fairmont, Destiny T Sylvester and Brian, Masontown, Eric J Huffman, Fellowsville; twelve great grandchildren, Amber N Shipp and Brandon Plum, Cory C Jennings, Baylee S Garrett, Dora Peaslee, Latisha C Huffman, Cheyenne S Huffman, Hope H Huffman, Grizzly R Austin, J. Ian Garrett, Jacqualine R Huffman, Zion X Sylvester, Alexander D Huffman; two great great grandchildren, Jaden R Plum, Alivia N Plum; sister-in-law’s, Susie Harvey, Kingwood, Martha Thorn and Charles, Howesville; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Franklin Huffman in 1993; one brother Junior Murray and one brother in infancy.
