Helen Hubbard (Davis) Hanley, 85, of Durham, wife of the late James Hanley, Jr., passed away peacefully October 3rd at Yale-New Haven Hospital. Born in New Haven in 1922, she was the daughter of the late Harold H. and Esther (Derby) Davis, and grew up in East Haven, attending East Haven schools. She graduated from National Park Junior College in Washington, DC and had lived in Middletown, moving to Durham in 1996.
