Helen Schenk (nee Hornotko), 92, of Toms River, NJ died on Monday January 6, 2014 at her home. She was born in Perth Amboy, NJ, and lived in Lansdale, PA before moving to Toms River 23 years ago. She was a parishioner at St. Justin the Martyr RC Church, Toms River, NJ.
She was a member of the Senior Center on Garfield Ave in Toms River, NJ. Helen was an avid fan of the Philadelphia Phillies and Lakewood Blueclaws. She is preceded in death by her husband John J. Schenk, and her brothers Andrew and John Hornotko.
Surviving are her children Thomas Schenk and his wife Roberta of Mount Joy, PA, Nancy White of Toms River, NJ, Mary Ann Kurnik of Lansdale, PA, Michael Schenk of Hatfield, PA and Joseph Schenk and his wife Marie of Hatfield, PA, and her grandchildren John, Justin, Michael and his fiancé Jenna, Shawn, and Steven.
