Helen H. Cammack, 93, of Anderson, passed away on February 9, 2013 at the Rawlins House, Pendleton.
She was born on February 24, 1919 in Paris, Illinois and resided in this area since 1940. Helen graduated from Paris High School, class of 1936. She retired in 1975 from Delco Remy after 30 years of service. She was a member of the Mt. Gilead Methodist Church, the Eagles Auxiliary, UAW #662 and Anderson Women’s Bowling Association. She was inducted into the Bowling Hall of Fame in St. Louis. She enjoyed reading, sewing, knitting, and quilting. The family would like to thank the management and residents at Hickory Knoll Apartments where she resided the past 15 years.
Helen is survived by her grandchildren, Cheryl Westcott, Joy Ramsey, Lisa Darrin Knotts, Scott Debbie Buckles, Jo Chris Cross, Candy Jim Stewart, daughter-in-law, Phyllis Metcalf, son-in-law, Jerry Buckles; 12 great-grandchildren, and 11 great-great-grandchildren. Also survived by special nieces and nephews, Larry Sue Howerton, Elaine Herb Hudson, Doug Betty Roehl, Dick Leslie Roehl, Don Barbara Roehl and Debbie John Pralle.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Cammack, mother, Mabel McCulley Howerton, father, Larrie K Howerton, children, LaRita Metcalf, Shirley Metcalf, William Metcalf, Nancy Buckles, grandson, Michael Buckles, great-grandson, Joshua Ramsey and brother, Jack Howerton.
